driving to a couple M states

I'm going to take a drive (7hours) to Maine to visit my awesome chick mentor C, she is celebrating a b-day and we are going to play in a lovely coastal town called Stonington, can't wait for a little rustic juju. ajus, etc.
So I think since this blog is about east coast & Maine is most def EAST, she says the sun rises there earlier maybe 30 mins earlier than slower lower. wow. never thought of that. it DOES stick out in the ocean more!!! Anyways, I'll blog my trip, its just me this time, taking some books on tape. no doze & lollipop oleput coffee.
I'll be leaving sometime on Wednesday, Stonington on Saturday, then back south to a conference on Sunday-Thursday

and at that point I should be fully charged. I will be full on photographing, so get ready, hope I can keep up.
later my pallies.

okay so this may very well be BORING!....

I can't help it, I MUST talk about how on July 23rd ; it is cold enough , not only to have the winders open, but to actually feel a cool breeze blowing!! I know I know, WHAT ARE YOU?! NEW? well , I hate to admit it, temporarily , I am , I feel so unattached, I was in the desert for the last 10 or so years, and not ever accepting that as reality, or a climate that was realistic, for me, I am sure it is reality for others. I know that because I read barbara kingsolver! she lurvs it there.
Although I am adjusting to the humidity, ( how I loved the Las Vegas DRY summers) Its funny I drip like its raining! when I know people really must be laffing at me. whatever, dare them to live in 115ยบ heat for a week!! It sucks.
anywho... I am hoping the humidity will not only rehydrate my skin & guts , but will also hydrate my brain & ears & eyes.
I am somewhat isolated from NYC intensity, not having to go hump it to work every day or compete out there, (thank you Jaff). I am taking sometime to adjust & get out of my funk & desert dust. All I can do right now is be happy as shit.
Happy to be back on the east coast, happy to have had the desert experience & happy to be embarking on new adventures. Happy to have met some really great folks & happy to know I will meet more great folks.
okay before the sap begins.....& you need wellies, I will sign put & say look for a photo blog since that shit be pullin me like a mad mo fo.
